Cousin of mine had one, cost him several thousands and he looked like professor Frankenstein had been let loose on his scalp, tell your "friend" to either shave off what ever hair he has left or buy a wig.

I liked having a hairstyle but shaving my head is great, as lmh said. Takes me a couple of minutes every other day which is loads less than it took to sort my hair every day. I never have to think about it.
